Southern Serengeti Scenic Flight

See the southern Serengeti from a completely new perspective. On this two-hour scenic flight, taken in the morning or the afternoon, you scout for wildlife from the air over the endless plains where the Great Migration gathers, and soar above herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, lions and elephants.

Your pilot sets down for coffee on top of a beautiful kopje, with unrivalled views across the rolling savannah. You then head south over the lush Mwiba Conservancy and east towards the Great Rift Valley, plunging 3,000 feet towards Lake Eyasi and swooping low over the mirror-like surface of the soda lake, glowing pink, or enjoying dazzling sundowners on top of the escarpment.

You fly in an award-winning Airbus H125, which outclasses other single-engine helicopters in hot and high conditions. It has dual hydraulics, an enhanced-safety VEMD system and satellite tracking, ample legroom and a comfortable ride, with left and right-hand sliding doors that can be left open or closed in flight. Our flights are led by expert pilots with decades of experience between them, specialists in helicopter safaris throughout sub-Saharan Africa who hold both FAA and KCAA commercial pilots' licences and are qualified flight instructors. A minimum of four guests applies to helicopter safaris in Tanzania, and each aircraft carries up to four adults or two adults and three children, with luggage limited to 15 kg per person in soft bags only.
